Renaissance - How to Add Students to courses and Create Courses

ESTIMATED TIME TO READ AND FOLLOW: 15-20 minutes

Problem: My Classes don't exist or my courses don't have my students

Solutions:
-How to Add Courses or Classes to our School-
1. Login to Renaissance.com  under Teacher
2. On the home page/dashboard it redirects you to after logging in. Click the Person Icon in the top right and select "Manage Apps & Users"

3. Select Classes & Courses

4. In the classes and Courses section, you, at first, won't see anything. That is because you have to click the Blue "Search" button and the classes and Courses will Populate.
5. Once there you can verify if your class or course are there. If they are not there then you can click Either of these buttons.

NOTE: Classes are the entire Class name like 1st grade. Courses are like Reading, Mathematics or Science which are under products we
have such as myON, Accelerated Reader, Star Math, etc.

6. If you choose to select a Course and do not know your Course Code. That is ok, you can name it yourself. I suggest using Numbers.
7. If you do not see your name on the list, feel free to create it under that same "Management Tasks" Window from Step 3.

NOTE: Please do not create courses for other teachers unless they ask for help and you are willing to help them. Doing so without contacting them will result in Duplicate Courses/Classes.

8. If you do not see your student in the list of Students, you can manually add them or request assistance from the office or IT department.
You also have the ability to view all student emails in the google sheets slide I sent you in your email. Here is the link if you cannot find it.

9. If you are having any trouble at all please contact helpdesk@yescharteracademy.org
