- In the event a Student has already logged in, have them press two buttons on the keyboard at once, The Magnifying Glass where CAPS lock should be, and the "L" key at the same time. Once they've done that, tell them to click "Sign-out" at the bottom left of their screen and repeat step 3.
- Once they Click "SecureTestBrowser" It will load and prompt them to put in their Organization, if so Tell them to select California. If no Prompt is made, go to step 6.
- At this step every student should be seeing the same window with 3 entry fields for "First Name:", "SSID:", and "Session ID". The student only needs to put in their first name, not their last name for the first Entry Field "First Name:".
- For "SSID" The ID is on the student's card, they do not need to type in "CA -" if it is printed on their card.
- For "Session ID" This is the Session ID that you have currently open for students to Join. Again, It should look like this
9. Once they have inputted that data, tell them to Click the "Sign In" button.
10. Next, the students have to accept an agreement and select "Yes I agree" and they will need to test their Microphone to test if sound works.
11. Furthermore, the student now must select the proper test and it looks something like this and there may be more than one.
NOTE: If there is more than one choice for your student, make sure they select the correct Assessment
12. Once they have selected their assesment, you as the teacher have to approve their entry. You do this by selecting "Approvals" on that Testing Page on your Teacher Computer. It should look something like this
13. Select the Checkmark on the new window next to the student to let them begin the assessment.
NOTE: In this menu you can also pause their tests if they need to use the restroom. It looks like a Pause Icon Underneath the "Actions" Column
In this menu you can see the progress of each student as well. Once they have completed their tests, the only thing they are allowed to do is read a book until the other students are completed with their tests.
Students can save their tests as well if you plan to have the tested re-administered later in the day or another day.

⚠️WHAT NOT TO DO DURING THE TEST AS A TEST ADMINISTRATOR ⚠️
=============================================================
DO NOT Exit the testing session tab. You can keep it open but do not exit out of it or your browser.
DO NOT Refresh the webpage
DO NOT Help students or coach them on test questions. The answers and input are 100% theirs.
DO NOT Let students do whatever they want after the test. Only have them read a book after they complete it.
DO NOT Let students use their own pieces of paper, provide paper for your students and collect them after the test is over. Then Shred their papers once they have completed the test.Article Author: Timothy Stewart
